Systems Engineer Bristol £30,000 - £40,000 VPN Networks Juniper Load balancers VirtualisationMy client are looking for an ambitious, knowledgeable Systems Engineer to join their organisation and partner with household names such as Sky, and Nokia along with SMEs throughout the UK on enterprise level systems, network and security support and project design.Youll have experience of:- Systems integration - Talking to customers, Networks Admins and Management- Advising in a project design capacity- Producing novel solutions to customer problems- Professional Services - Writing high and low level design docsTechnical capabilities The following general skills are desirable but knowledge of specific vendors would be advantageous.- Load balancing - Application Delivery Control - Reverse Proxy (Pulse Secure vADC)- Web Filtering - Forward Proxy - (Blue Coat Symantec ProxySG)- Enterprise OS/Server Experience - (Linux/Windows)- Hypervisor - (VMware vSphere, KVM)- Firewall Setup, Rule Audit, Intergration - (Juniper SRX)- VPN Setup - Client to Server and Site to Site (Pulse Secure/Juniper)- Linux OS (Debian, Ubuntu)- Network Monitoring - (LibreNMS) - Open Source ToolsYoull come from a technical background and have the hunger to progress your skills and knowledge within a rewarding and constructive environment.
