Job Description

Supply Chain and Obsolescence Manager£45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefitsRemoteMy client is a leading supplier of Obsolescence Management, Technical Authoring, Training, Inventory Optimisation, and Integrated Logistic Support services to government, industry and commercial clients throughout the UK and Europe. Due to expanding opportunitiesI am proud to bring to market this exclusive opportunity with an immediate start. You will be an experienced Obsolescence or Supply Chain Manager with strong Project Management skills working on a large-scale project for a major client.As Supply Chain and Obsolescence Manager youll be

  • Supporting the client to enhance their OM capabilities and service provision
  • Ensuring all OM activities are integrated with other engineering and supportability disciplines across the clients projects, programmes, and enterprise
  • Conducting client and supplier assessments
  • Basic awareness of the key legislation and regulatory requirements which impact OM
  • Supporting the delivery of the OM functions strategy
  • Develop and implement compliant processes for internal & external clients
  • Provide obsolescence risk and mitigation strategy reports for internal & external clients projects
  • Development, delivery and implementation of bespoke client policy and plans
  • Deliver client OM requirements associated with programmes and projects
Skills, qualifications, and experience required
  • A working knowledge of the current IEC 62402 Obsolescence Management Standard and other key OM related standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Data management and analytics to inform decision making
  • Excellent IT skills with expert knowledge of MS Office and specifically MS Excel
  • The provision of OM consultancy advice and guidance law with the IEC 62402 Obsolescence Management Standard and domain knowledge
  • A working knowledge of OM tools & solutions
