Structural Engineer - Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy - BristolJob Title: Structural Engineer Location: BristolSalary: £28,000-£35,000 per annum (depending on experience)This vacancy presents an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to work within a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy with a fresh approach to engineering. The successful applicant gets to work on exciting projects across the UK, from inception tofinish, in both the domestic and commercial sectors. They will be operating within a social, yet professional team from a modern and vibrant office in Bristol.The successful applicant will have 4 years experience and be near chartered. Ideally having experience in working small to medium retail, commercial and residential projects. The candidate must be comfortable coordinating between clients, contractors, andcolleagues. Must be competent in working on projects with the major structural elements i.e. steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. Competence with the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Google e-mail and calendar; PDF editing software & business systemsis also required. As is proficiency in Revit, NBS specifications, Oasys GSA, TEDDS, SCIA, Master series analysis software.Personal attributes desired for the role include positivity, attention to detail, time management/organisational skills, experience in a fast-paced environment, commercial awareness, excellent commercial skills and a willingness to learn.The job duties of the role include developing structures which are interesting as well as effective. Producing relevant calculations to European standards. Using technical expertise to design in all main materials using Revit. Regularly upholding financialreporting and quality management duties.The salary for the role is a competitive rate but based on experience. The bonus of working for this company though is having your progress overseen by more senior engineers.
