Job Description

Shift: 5 / 5 / 4 (Day & Night Shifts Available)Salary:Days - £31,000 - £36,000 p/aNights - £36,000 - £41,400 p/aHours: 40.25Igloo are recruiting for an exceptional Strip & Refit Technician to join Cazoos fast-growing team in Bristol, helping to transform the way people buy used cars and making buying a car no different to buying any other product online today.The Strip & Refit Technician will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are stripped down ready for prep & paint and then refitting the car after its been painted ready for polish.You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a hands on attitude and at heart with a data-driven mindset, sharing fresh ideas for how to apply best practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.What youll be doing:

  • Attending all training programmes as necessary and when instructed.
  • Refitting vehicles after paint so they are ready for polish.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times.
  • Sending completed vehicles to the valeting team.
  • Stripping down vehicles ready for prep/paint.
Required skills and experience:
  • Significant exposure working in a similar position i.e. Vehicle Stripper, Refitter, MET Technician, Bodyshop / Bodywork Operative.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Significant exposure using orbital sanders.
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently.
  • Process driven.
  • Team player.
