Job Description

Working as a Store Manager for this new store opening in a growing, ethically aware and people focused retailer, you will lead a team of professional retailers and provide high calibre of service to every customer whilst being an active ambassador for the brands culture in the community.Our client provides an excellent lifestyle product while remaining conscious of the community and the environment ensuring every customer is given un-paralleled service with a product that is ethically and responsibly manufactured.IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Places the emphasis on customer service and ensures that the highest standards are set and maintained in this field
  • You will be comfortable managing varying team sizes and delivering positive change effectively
  • Strong communication skills, coaching and mentoring management style are essential as well as excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Commercial drive and awareness as well as the ability to prioritise, anticipate changes and implement recommendations
  • THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a Store Manager you’ll lead, inspire and develop your team, spending most of your day on the shop floor, making sure that every customer feels valued as soon as they walk through the door
  • You’ll build key relationships throughout the local area and support local business as well as taking an active role in the community in regard to environmental issues in the area
  • You’ll seek opportunities to stay ahead of the competition and react to changes that could affect store performance
  • Manage a business that is maintained and viewed as ‘best in class’, maximising sales at every opportunity and maintaining extremely high standards
  • Understand the retail customers, anticipating their needs, and delivering exceptional retail service
  • Ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet customer experiences for the whole retail store
  • Lead and coach your team from the front as you work towards team and individual performance goals
  • Take charge of everything, from developing your people to managing sales, waste and costs
  • To recruit, train and develop the store team to consistently provide product availability and responsive, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable customer service
