Job Description

Role: Software Customisation and System Team LeaderLocation: BristolSalary: £30,000 + benefitsConcept IT are currently recruiting for a Software Customisation and System Team Leader on behalf of our client, a EU wide Payment and Ticketing systems company. The successful candidate will oversee and motivate a small team, to create and test softwarecustomisations & downloads for all types of Parking & Display equipment. To maintain software customisation records and archives.Key responsibilities:

  • Competent supervising members in a team, delegating work and ensuring deadlines are kept to, leading small team talks.
  • Be the point of contact in the team for all escalations internally and externally
  • Create and test software and tariff screens for customers
  • Complete software jobs and package up to send out to customer or send to engineer drives remotely
  • Competent visiting customer sites to assist with programming training, once fully trained
  • Manage incoming emails from internal staff and external customers
  • Offer advice to customers inquiring about the technicality of how the software can work
  • Assist in product functionality training, programming and testing
  • Produce bespoke tariff and welcome screens using Photoshop
  • Observe HSE requirements as advised by the HSE Manager
Knowledge and skills required:
  • Previous team leader / supervisor experience
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Database, spreadsheet, XML and Windows Operating Systems experience
  • Driving License
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of different IT systems
  • Previous experience with software programming
  • Excellent communication skills
