Job Description

Site Manager - Windows & Doors Job Title: Site Manager - Windows & DoorsIndustry Sector: Glazing, Architectural glazing, Steelwork, Aluminium, Bespoke Glazing, Partitions, Double Glazing, Facades, Frameless glazing, Structural Glazing, Fenestration, Windows, Doors, PVC Windows, Aluminium Glazing & Commercial Glazing, Glazing,Curtain WallingLocation: BristolRemuneration: £32,000 - £40,000 + Bonus TBC Benefits: Company Van + Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Site Manager - Windows & Doors will involve:

  • Site manager role dealing with the installation of various windows, doors and aluminium systems into the residential and commercial sectors
  • Site based role overseeing the day to day running of the site and providing clear direction to all site staff
  • Liaising with main client, installers, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders
  • Preparing work tasks for the installations team and strategic planning of works
  • Ordering materials to site and processing purchase orders
  • Monitoring each stage of the project ensuring resources are productive and the delivery schedule is being met within budget
  • Thoroughly inspecting works and ensuring any remedial work is completed in advance of client inspections
  • Receiving and managing deliveries and site logistics
  • Conducting Toolbox Talks
  • Carrying out health & safety reports, quality assurance and snagging
  • Documenting variations and cost changes
The ideal applicant will be a Site Manager - Windows & Doors with:
  • Ideally has site management experience within the fenestration industry, however would consider someone from the construction industry
  • Would consider site supervisor / assistant site manager experience who is wanting to step up to site management
  • Must want to take control and doesnt mind telling people what to do
  • Must have an understanding of building legislation
  • Must be a resilient individual that can deal with on-site complaints
  • Ideally CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Full UK driving license
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
