This is a very well paid and unusual hybrid role involving both being a home based and on-site Technical Service Support Engineer focussed on automation & controls working for a worldwide market leading manufacturer of packaging and filling machinery suppliedto the beverage market. You will be expected to stay away 2 nights per week on average during the week (typically 4 nights a week once or twice a month) and also towork up to 8 weekends per annum. Average overtime is also paid when you are on holiday!PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Automation & Controls Engineer: packaging machinery, process machinery - food & beverage· You MUST have a proven track record as an Automation & Controls Engineer &/or as a Field Service Engineer with specific experience of working on packaging and/or process machinery in the beverage or food industry. · The company will also consider an experienced factory Automation & Controls Engineer who has hands on packaging or process machinery knowledge and who has worked specifically in the beverage industry. · You MUST be a qualified Electrical &/or Electronics Engineer with automation and controls experience. · You will be able to fault find, modify and program PLC`s.THE COMPANY:A well-established worldwide market leading manufacturer of packaging and filling machinery supplied to the beverage industry.
