Job Description

Service DirectorSouth West, England£80,000 - £90,000 per annum + Car/Car Allowance, Bonus, BenefitsOur client are a leading provider of innovative HVAC solutions, committed to delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional service to our clients. With a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency, our client strives to be at the forefront of theindustry.Role Overview: Your main responsibility will be to oversee the service engineering department, ensuring the highest level of technical expertise and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in developing and implementing service strategies,managing a team of service engineers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the service engineering operations, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the teams.
  • Develop and implement service strategies to optimise efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of service activities with other departments, including sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing their technical needs and concerns.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of service projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into our service offerings.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on service performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on service engineering and management.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
