Job Description

Service Desk Engineer(1st & 2nd line Support - £22,000 - £28,000)A new position has become available for a Service Desk Engineer for a professional services business in Bristol city centre. This position will provide 1st & 2nd line support to over 500 users, supporting the wider service delivery team managing and supporting incidents and service requests.Service Desk Engineer essential skills:

  • Experience working on 2nd line incidents & requests
  • Excellent knowledge of windows 10
  • Experience working on VMware based virtual desktop infrastructure (View, vCentre, vSphere)
  • Supporting and maintaining physical desktops, mobile devices, printers, and end-device security and remote access technologies.
  • MCSE qualification
  • Mobile devise management
  • Experience of working in an ITIL environment
  • MCSE qualification
  • Desirable:
  • Financial service industry experience
  • AWS or Azure
  • This role will be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 6pm. 35 hours per week. No on call.
