Are you a SCPHN qualified School Health NurseAn opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our School Nursing Team in Bristol. We are a supportive, skill mixed team, covering both mainstream and special schools.This is a permanent senior school health nurse position 30 hours per week, term time only in North Bristol based at Southmead House, Greystoke Avenue, Southmead, BS10 6BQ.We are seeking innovative and passionate candidates who have knowledge and understanding of children and young people’s public health agenda with experience in leadership and management. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Exhibit a willingness to take an active lead in service delivery, have innovative ideas and advocate for children/young people, families/careers and the School Health nursing service, across Bristol.Bristol School Health Nursing service is a workforce of Specialist Community Public Health Nurses and Registered Nurses who provide expert advice, support and interventions to children, young people (5-19) and their families and help empower them to make decisions that affect their families’ future health and wellbeing.The service supports all pupils of school age and those attending primary and secondary schools within Bristol.
