Role:The role holder is responsible for the sales of the clients active and passive optical product range across EMEA. This will require dedicated focus to new business and working alongside the accounts team across existing/dormant house accounts. Core task areas will be to maintain effective cadence with decision makers, identify new contacts missing from the DM loop, close out deals swiftly as possible and troubleshoot commercial, logistic and technical queries that may arise.Job FunctionNew business development inside existing account and fresh business from cold prospects across the EMEA region.You will generate business opportunities and sales predominantly, but not exclusively, for optical network equipment and used product range which includes optical transceivers, equipment, fibre accessories and used hardware.Success measurement will be judged upon the quality and quantity of new business opportunities. Main traits that enhance the success of this role is the ability to hunt and sell with energy, open mindedness, enthusiasm, and urgency.
