Job Description

"They are a great company to work for and I am feeling very satisfied with work for the first time in a long time" Just one of the comments from a current employee. Do you feel the same in your current roleOur client initially formed their company to provide advice to the land development and property sector. They cover transport, infrastructure planning/engineering, and flood risk management and are experts in their field, particularly with residential developments. They have recently expanded by opening a Bristol office. This is a really exciting time to join, as whilst the current team is relatively small, you will have the potential to grow your own team as the work comes in. Our client prides themselves on quality and would want any candidate to believe in what they do. They believe in their staff having a work-life balance and there is no ceiling. As soon as you get to the next level in your career you will be promoted.Your bread and butter work will be within the residential sector but they do cover a little bit of everything so you will work on a variety of projects including hotels, industrial units, etc. The project size generally ranges from 2-2000 units with any larger projects being shared across more than one office. You should have either a BEng/MEng degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, or a degree in a related subject such as Geography plus an MSc in Transport Planning/Engineering or similar, together with several years post qualification experience in Transport Assessments, Green Travel Plans, and preliminary highway/junction layout design and capacity analysis. You will have experience with Linsig, Junctions 8 & Arcady. In return, you can expect to receive a competitive salary, 25 days holiday + BH & pension contribution along with plenty of support to grow.Girling Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
