A talented Senior PHP Developer is needed to join a market-leading software house.Theyre open to majority remote working, but to come to their hub in Bristol once or twice a month at least, alongside a talented team of developers, QAs and DevOps engineers.If you want to work on a Tech-for-Good innovative software product, then this could be the one for you!What experience youll need
  • Strong, rounded PHP experience (7/8).
  • Experience of using Symfony5.
  • Experience building API endpoints.
  • Experience of working with enterprise-level or mission critical applications.
  • Good knowledge of GIT version control.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Good use of MySQL.
  • AWS.
What youll be doingYou will be helping to further enhance and develop new functionality for an already extremely successful product that is genuinely improving the lives of vulnerable people.Youll join a great group of developers, so you can expect high skill levels, autonomy,plus working closely with others in squads to deliver complex solutions within the team. Working across a range of development, you wont be expected to work on simple client fixes, this is a heavily technical role needing strong problem-solving and innovation.Theyll also need you to be able to build from scratch, occasionally work refactoring legacy code, have lots of debugging tricks up your sleeve.
