Job Description

Senior IT Service Desk Analyst - Bristol (Hybrid) - Up to £40,000Seeking a 2nd Line Senior IT Support Analyst local to the Bristol Area. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring travel to site 2/3 times per week. Proven experience at a Senior/Lead level is essential for this role.Responsibilities

  • Offer technical and behavioural mentorship to junior team members for delivering excellent customer service
  • Manage escalated queries, investigate root causes, and ensure timely resolutions
  • Act as an escalation point for Service Desk analysts and customers
  • Document key systems and facilitate knowledge transfer among team members
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring an excellent level of service
  • Strive to eliminate repeat incidents through automation and root cause analysis
  • Regularly review systems and processes, implementing improvements
Essential Skills
  • Experience supporting Microsoft products (Windows 10, 11, End Point Management, Azure & Active Directory, Office 365)
  • Proficiency in LAN & WAN networking, cloud systems, user access control, client-side software, remote access tools, visualisation support, multi-factor authentication, Mimecast, and IP Telephony
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and ability to analyse system logs
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices
