Job Description

Senior Hydrogeologist - Bristol My client is a leading international engineering consultancy who are notorious for design and engineering and has won many international awards including The Times 25 Best Big Companies to Work For. They work on a range of large-scale projects such asHS2, Thames Water, Heathrow Airport, ITER (Fusion for Energy) and many more. My client is looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their Team in Bristol.Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and agreeing scopes of services; managing, mentoring, developing, and supervising junior colleagues; engaging with clients, leading winning work activities and actively progressing a suite of tasks / projects under your control.
  • Lead the delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources hydrogeology and hydrology
  • Produce, and to supervise the production of, high quality client- and public-facing deliverables, demonstrated through excellence in communication and ability to present visualisations and interpretation of complex data.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Post Graduate Degree in hydrogeology or a related subject.
  • A strong understanding of UK hydrogeology and of the environmental and regulatory framework of UK water management.
  • Recognised as a leading figure across the industry amongst water companies and regulators.
  • Have a sound understanding of client needs, their opportunities and challenges, with a track record of leading and winning work.
  • Have excellent report-writing, technical review, numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and enjoy solving challenging hydrogeological / hydrological problems.
