Job Description

Senior Health and Safety AdvisorMonday to Friday, full-timeOffice based as well as on site with clientsTo £32,000pa DOE plus excellent benefits package including car allowance and healthcare BristolOur client is a leading outsourced Health and Safety consultancy, providing sensible, tailored support to thousands of small and medium sized businesses across the whole of the UK across a number of industry sectors. Due to continued expansion, they now have a great opportunity for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to work with the best in their field!With extensive H&S experience to date, in this role duties will include the following :

  • Provision of a high level of H&S advice to clients based around Bristol/the South West, both over the phone and in person
  • Completion of risk assessments and online audits/inspection
  • Production of H&S policies and procedures
  • Regular client reporting
  • Maintaining and managing your portfolio of clients
  • Advising clients on legislative changes to ensure they remain fully compliant
  • Supporting the wider H&S team as well as liaison with a number of different departments
    • This role requires a strong knowledge of H&S law, you will possess great communication and IT skills as well as the ability to work with people at all levels within an organisation, be confident in your own abilities and be able to use you own initiative to solve problems as they arise. You will be comfortable working as part of a team and yet be able to function independently, managing your own time and working under pressure and to deadlines, where accuracy is key. With a commercial outlook, you will quickly establish client relationships and assess their H&S requirements. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have your NEBOSH Fire or General Certificate(s) and be a graduate Member of IOSH (TechIOSH) or working towards this status. You will also require a full and valid driving licence, the occasional overnight stay will also be required when visiting clients out of the area.If you are an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor with a track record in building and maintaining effective and positive relationships with clients with a high level of professionalism in the service you supply, then we would love to hear from you!
