After continued success and their recent acquisitionby an industry giant and FTSE 250 company, they move forward as an independent scale up keen to build out their tech team to support their growth.Youll be joining a team of ~30 spearheaded by a talented and award nominated female advocate for diversity in tech leading their product strategy, youll be joining at an exciting time!About The Role - Senior Frontend Developer - Lead in 6 months - ReactYoull be joining as a Senior Frontend Developer in a diverse (in tech, ages and much more), open minded and supportive team happy for you to play to your strengths, learn new things, work across teams etc. They love to have a laugh and regularly get togethereither remotely or in person.Theres a sophisticated, multifaceted, but equally as simple mobile & a web application with technologies like React, React Native, Node, AWS Serverless, Hapi, Express, Docker, Socket.io, Redis, MongoDB... they wont limit you to just frontend if youd like to learn more!Youll be working on greenfield projects developing new features and functionality for their platforms as part of their continued roadmap to take their tech to the next level. As well as this, youll be helping to maintain current work as well as refactor/migrateold architecture from their initial monolithic platform over to their new tech.Theres currently 2 cross-functional development squads of 6 developers each of different levels and roles including mobile, fullstack, frontend, backend, infrastructure and more. With 2 at lead level and another whos recently moved from lead frontend developerin to the head of engineering role, theres still more room for seniors & leads to have an impact now or in the future...The idea is for you to become the Frontend Lead after ~6 months time (why 6 months if you and the team are happy after your 6 month probation when youve settled in, youll be promoted to lead), so youll need to be someone whos keen tomove in to this position if you were to join. They wont be expecting you to necessarily have leadership experience already, but at least some mentoring experience would be needed.Youll be the most senior in the team when it comes to frontend with a small team of developers to support. Youll be a hands on as a developer and will be actively encouraged to share your ideas, support others, and play a key role at a higher level in the business as part of the leadership team.Key Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Frontend Developer
• Expertise with React and/or React Native
• Youve worked in a similar environment - Startup/Scaleup ideally
• Youve had experience mentoring or leading others
