Job Description

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Front End Developer to join a team that is creating something extraordinary!Who are youThe key to their future success rests on the synonymous evolution of the tech and product which, in turn, has paved the way for this high impact role that will shape and lead the Front End of all their digital products. You will be responsible for the way the products look, feel, interact and empower the community of artists.Youll be the flag flyer of best practice with the customer experience at the forefront of everything you do. Youll work on various digital products including, but not limited to, a brand new in-house built booking system, IoT services that control aspects of the spaces remotely and locally, an audio and video live streaming service, an online community and some other secrets in the pipeline...Youll need to be:

  • Owner of the front end offering, mentoring and growing the front end team
  • Builder of prototypes and production-ready code for new and existing products
  • Optimiser of user needs and experience
  • Lead on projects, living by Agile and Scrum methodologies
    • The stackThe tech stack is one of the most exciting Ive seen. Its more than is required for your usual websites and booking systems; it includes IoT devices, physical hardware integrations and more.     • Essential experienceIt is however key you have:
  • Proven experience in professional programming
  • Proficiency with React
  • Understanding TypeScript, modern javascript, es6+
  • Working with REST / GraphQL services and 3rd party APIs
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues
  • Understanding web performance analysis and optimisation
