This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great Client of ours, a not-for-profit organization with offices in the outskirts Bristol. The successful postholder will oversee the communication function which will cover external and internal communications. Thisrole offers a flexible hybrid model and can offer part time or condensed hours. This vacancy is a spot on match for an experienced Communications Manager looking for their next step up or someone who is already on a Senior/ Head of level looking for a sidewaystep. What you’ll be doingThe postholder will report into one of the Directors and they will work closely with other colleagues from the communications team (the reporting structure is still due to be confirmed and will be discussed during the interview stage). This role will coverstrategy and delivery across external comms (including crisis comms and media relations), internal comms, digital and customer communications. There will be several key projects the successful candidate will get involved such as new intranet, website and thecustomer communication portal. This role will also have a big emphasis with key external stakeholders such as MPs, regulators and auditors. What experience you’ll need to applyPrevious communications experience, working on a senior level.Be highly political aware with a good understanding of national policy planning.Background from a not for profit or social housing sector.Proven track detail working with a range of external stakeholders as well as internal Board MembersTeam management experience is preferred.
