Senior backend software developer | Bristol | Python/Java/C/Rust or Ruby. With skills that range from robotics and AI to industrial manufacturing and software engineering with a team who have worked for some of the largest organisations in these fields including Google, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Morgan Stanley and Ansys just to mention a few.Theyve got one clear vision and are using all the tricks in the book to get there. They are advocates of embrace change, adapt as they walk the path and strive to grow the team by hiring better, smarter people who love good and bad jokes.Where you come in:They are looking for another senior backend engineer with a proven background of designing and implementing robust and scalable software in either Python/Java/C/Rust or Ruby. Youll have hands-on experience in network and storage, you understand automation tools, you are opinionated about security, APIs and carry extensive knowledge about testing. You should be comfortable architecting a solution, gaining feedback and reaching consensus with the team on the approach and would be able to either single-handedly code the solution, or lead a small implementation team. You enjoy helping the team with thorough code reviews and you also embrace constructive critique.You would also be able to deploy virtualization on the cloud or in-premise and would automate this process. You will be refining the deployment scripts that we have work on improving monitoring and alerting for our services.
