Job Description

Senior Architectural TechnicianReference: KOBR8989789Location: BristolSalary: £36,000Im pleased to be supporting a large, well-established consultancy based in Manchester on several exciting new appointments. My client is a real estate and infrastructure company who are known for creating places where people can prosper, whilst having aparticular focus on buildings being sustainable and environmentally appropriate.With this role of Senior Architectural Technician, you be responsible for leading the technical output for the project workload and also, be qualified to a minimum of an HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology.On offer is an attractive and appealing company benefits such as; rising holiday allowance with the opportunity to buy more the cycle to work scheme, paid charitable work & voluntary health benefits.Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Capable of providing strong technical support to your team whilst delivering projects in accordance with the client expectations.
  • Act as a team leader whilst still managing your own responsibilities within time frames.
  • Ability to organise and co-ordinate your design and technical team, alongside contractors.
  • Undertake tasks required on a day-to-day basis, including the production of design deliverables, providing accurate technical information and address technical queries.
  • Eligible member of the appropriate institution- MCIAT.
  • Several years industry experience working in a similar level role.
  • Excellent understanding of the UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • Good Revit and Navisworks skills and able to deliver projects to BIM Level 2.
