Job Description

Were hiring a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Secondary Teaching Assistant in Bristol. Your role will involve providing tailored support to secondary students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive environment, and collaborating withthe teaching team.Responsibilities:

  • -Individualised Support: Assist students with SEN through one-on-one or small group support.
  • -Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in adapting lessons for diverse learning styles.
  • -Behavioural Support: Implement strategies for positive classroom behaviour.
  • -Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers and parents/guardians.
Requirements:
  • -Experience: Previous experience in care, coaching, or TA roles, especially in SEN settings.
  • -Qualifications: Relevant education, care, or coaching qualifications are advantageous.
  • -Empathy: Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with SEN students.
  • -Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • -Local Candidates: Only candidates in or around Bristol will be considered.
