Job Description

Our client, who are a leader within financial services is driving innovation and change to better serve their customers. They are recruiting for a Scrum Master to join the team.What you’ll be doingAs Scrum Master, you will be a pivotal part in their strategic initative to foster a data-led culture through analytics. As they migrate and update their data solutions, you will work closely and collaborate with the data team to establish and maintain a robustdata platform.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope and timelines effectively.
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal communication and promote effective collaboration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external communications (e.g., customers or stakeholders).
  • Collaborate with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Perform risk management activities to minimise project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
What experience you’ll need to apply
  • You will currently be a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager.
  • Strong experience within data, ideally you have worked as a Data Analyst/ Data Engineer before transitioning in to project management.
  • Solid technical background with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with SQL and/or python would be considered a plus.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA.
