Job Description

THE COMPANY:Brewster Partners are recruiting a Sales Advisor for a growing business in Bristol. This role would be suitable for candidates with a strong customer service background, looking for a business who can offer a fantastic working environment, with fantasticvalues and career progression.THE JOB:The purpose of this role is to serve the sales customer base providing excellent customer service and also to provide general administration support. As well as this you will:

  • Handling inbound sales enquiries on the telephone and via e-mail which involves checking stock levels
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints, obtaining technical information regarding products where required and general customer service
  • Maintaining high standards of administration and customer service to achieve maximum profitability & service level
  • Processing sales orders using Microsoft Great Plains & Microsoft Excel
THE PERSON:This role will suit someone with experience of a similar position previously, as well as possessing:
  • Excellent communication skills, telephone manner and technique as well as good interpersonal skills
  • Effective numeracy, literacy and word processing skills
  • Ability to liaise closely with internal colleagues and external contacts
  • Ability to work as member of a team
  • Commercial awareness i.e. good understanding of sales procedures, net & gross profit as well as purchasing costs & procedures
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to assess issues and be assertive as required
  • Having knowledge of engineering/maintenance products would be advantageous
