Job Description

The majority of the time will be spent research crafting emails and responding by email to the current user base with the aim of converting schools and districts who are currently using the free version of the app into paid accounts.Client DetailsOur client is the world-leading EdTech creativity app, building relationships and creating opportunities around the world.It is the number 1 app in its category in 90+ countries, has had 10 million+ downloads and isa premium Google partner. With more than 100% year on year growth for the third year in a row,they are expanding our global team and looking for a Sales Development Representative to grow. Primarily focused on the US market, this is a great opportunity to join a very fast growing innovative tech business that is making a really positive difference toclassrooms.Description

  • Creating well written emails and developing outreach strategies
  • Actively data-mining and researching free users to unearth opportunity
  • Potential for high volume of phone calls and email outreach
  • Qualifying incoming enquiries and escalating sales leads as appropriate
  • Closing and processing smaller opportunities as they come in
  • Working with customer success and sales team in the US to assist with opportunities
  • Using CRM for all communications, tracking progress and reporting goals
  • Reporting to the head of sales
Profile
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with an understanding of how to build relationships via email
  • Graduate or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
  • Proven track record of delivering results, not necessarily in the Sales industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to negotiate and problem solve
  • Knowledge of digital tools, apps and education would be advantageous
  • Passion for education and helping educators access transformative digital tools
  • Good decision making skills
  • Demonstrable business acumen and good understanding of business sales processes
  • Sales or customer focused communications experience would be advantageous
  • Experience or knowledge of the education sector would be advantageous
Job Offer
  • £24-30k salary dependant on experience with an additional 30% salary as OTE PLUS another 15% salary if the business achieves OTE
