Job Description

An amazing opportunity to be a part of a UK-based nanotechnology start-up, specialising in atomic force microscopy (AFM) probes. We are passionate about creating high-quality products and providing the best possible customer service for researchers and engineersat the cutting edge of nanoscale science and technology. Youll work in afast-paced, high-tech environment, at the forefront of the latest nanoscale characterisation challenges.What youll be doingAs a sales coordinator you will be responsible for contacting cold leads and existing customers, building customer relationships and ultimately closing sales. There is no limit to your career progression or earnings.We want ambitious and motivated team playersto join us on our journey as we grow our brand and worldwide sales.   • You will be responsible for securing new customers and enhancing relationships with existing customers, throughout the UK and further afield.
  • You will provide exemplary customer service to achieve your sales targets.
  • Initially your target accounts will be research groups within universities.As your sales and technical experience grows you will progress towards industry accounts, ultimately becoming an expert in your area.
  • In addition to direct sales activity, your connections to our customers and wider market insights will help inform future product development and sales strategies.
What experience youll need to apply
  • Enthusiasm and energy, with an entrepreneurial spark to grow your own customer base.
  • Previous sales or customer facing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Degree in a relevant technical subject or business administration, or relevant work experience.
  • A desire to learn about new technologies, with a curiosity for the science behind them.
  • To be a self-starter, quick learner & well organised.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, with clear and persuasive communication.
  • To build strong relationships within NuNano and be a team player.
What youll get in return for your talents£20,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission structure (your earnings potential is limited only by your ambition and motivation) - £27,000 OTE in first year plus the opportunity to progress rapidly, being rewarded for loyalty and success.
