Job Description

This successful solutions provider is looking for a senior sales person to sell its market leading SaaS solutions to Enterprise clients. New business sales working from inbound and marketing generated / qualified leads. Sales meetings UK wide, pre sales support on demos and discoveries. Home based with some travel to the Herts head office and prospect / client meetings anywhere in theUK several times a month. You will have sold solutions to Operations, Finance, or HR leadership in diverse organisations, and ideally will have sold T&A, WFM, Payroll or related software. Supportive and sociable team environment, referenceable clients, diverse sectors, good base salary and six figure on target earnings.As a Software Sales Manager your role entails:

  • developing sales opportunities in organisations with more than 1000 employees, many with 10,000+, through sales meetings and presentations
  • receiving inbound marketing qualified leads in a variety of sectors, mainly private and some public sector
  • delivering presentations and hold consultative meetings with senior decision makers to uncover objectives, challenges and pain points
  • being supported by expert pre sales support providing detailed discovery processes and tailored demonstrations
  • being responsible for demonstrating business value, managing negotiations and close
  • building relationships with multiple contacts in the client organisation
  • primarily new business with some major account management and development
Required Skills and Experience:
  • previous experience as a Software Sales Manager / Director / Executive in SaaS solutions sales, owning the sales process from lead to close
  • track record of success in sales of solutions to Finance, Operations and HR leads in a range of industries
  • very strong sales track record demonstrating achievement in high value consultative solutions sales
  • good relationship building skills, ability to uncover requirements for a tailored solution and good closing skills
  • ideally experience in selling T&A, Rostering, WFM, Payroll or related solutions
