Remote Product Manager role - SaaS / E-Commerce** Fully remote……even post-Covid, must be UK based**Oscar are exclusively partnered with a high-growth software company based in the North West that provide order management and fulfilment software platforms that are marketed to SME E-Commerce and Retail firms. Theyve been performing really well and have expanded massively over the last few years through a mixture of a key acquisition, and loads of organic growth.They are looking to hire their first Product Manager, in what will be an important first hire in their drive-towards a Product-based model. They are essentially are looking for a very user-centric Product Manager who champion their customers needs, while aligning them with their own business strategy.As such, this is key role working between various groups within the business, including technical teams, implementation teams, sales, accounts and directors, and of course clients / users.As this is the first product role in the business, there will also be a significant hands on aspect to the role, helping to define and specify features for the development team.Sounds great, so what elseThey are planning on increasing the development team by 50% this year, and it is expected that the Product Manager role will expand alongside this growth, providing the opportunity for the successful candidate to define the product practice and to potentially grow a team around it.What will your job typically involveYou will be creating and curating their product roadmap, taking you information from Customer feedback, Competitor analysis, Improvements for staff efficiency, Partnership opportunities and Strategic goals provided by senior management.You will also set-up and manage product backlogs, and youll be introducing and refining standards for producing User stories / specifications for the development team to work from and ultimately becoming the expert/go to person on the features and functions the product provides.What do you need to bringYou will need to have and be able to demonstrate a majority of the following skills:
