My client is looking for a candidate who likes to work in a fast paced environment and has exceptional talent.Your responsibilities- Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering squad to support, maintain and make incremental necessary changes to my clients existing applications / systems- Take ownership to overcome technical problems and live incidents, adhering to change control procedures- Supports the relevant scrum events; sprint planning / user story estimation, daily stand ups, sprint reviews / demos and retrospectives- Assist with mentoring and training apprentice/ trainee engineers in your Squad Ensure test driven development (TDD), and behaviour driven development (BDD), principles are followed wherever possible Invests in learning about the wider business, developing their knowledge of insurance as a business domain- Essential skills- C#, .Net and ASP.NET- JavaScript, React JS- Adabas Natural and Sharepoint- Able to apply CQRS to code, where relevan- Understanding of software development secure coding principles lifecycle- Good level of OOP understanding and able to using plain language apply SOLID / DRY / Gang of Four principles- Understand dependency injection / dependency graph, where relevant- Ability to develop unit and integration tests, and professional attitude to work or follow this approach with any configuration- Working in an Agile environment- Need security clearance (only British passport holders)Benefits- Bonus scheme- 5 - 9% pension- Flexible working hours AND remote work- 25 days annual leave- Discounted retail and gym vouchers per year- Eye care vouchers- Flu vaccination- 4 x salary group life assurance membershipsIf this role suits you get in touch today, my email is kim.lopes @ opus .
