A financial services regulatory lawyer to support the UK regulated businesses (including retail product structuring and distribution activities) as required.The role works closely with business owners to understand the commercial, operational and regulatory aspects of the business and support compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.• Contributing information, guidance and recommendations to propositional and strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems and assisting with change implementation;• Interpreting the impact of new or emerging regulations and laws on the Group by reviewing and analysing proposed and adopted legislation and regulations as relevant to the scope of the role;• General legal risk management as appropriate in a project framework;• Provide legal advice to business managers to ensure that legal issues are identified and resolved and that legal risk is managed appropriately;• Provide guidance and support to the businesses on relevant legal risk issues and developmentsEXPERENCE/SKILLSRequirements• Qualified and experienced Solicitor (3 - 5+ years PQE)• Excellent communication skills• Legal drafting• Stakeholder management - internally and externally• Ability to assimilate information quickly Required skills
