Job Description

Job Title: Refrigeration Service EngineerSalary: £41,679.24 per annum (inclusive of call out) plus Company Vehicle, Pension, Health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Location: Bristol and surrounding areasHours: Monday to Friday / 45 hours per weekOn Call: 1 week in 4We are advertising this Refrigeration Service Engineer role on behalf of our client City Facilities Management. The business has ambitious growth plans and is keen to attract people who are passionate about delivering great standards and service to customers.In return you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, industry leading Induction and training through our City & Guilds training academy and the opportunity to develop and progress is only limited by your own ambition.Job Purpose:The purpose of the role is to effectively maintain service and repair refrigeration equipment in customer locations & provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits as well as ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront ofall actions.Skills / Background / Qualifications:

  • Flexibility in working hours is essential for this role as well as the ability to be on call on a 1 in every 4 weeks basis.
  • You must be a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 qualification (F Gas Qualification)
  • You should hold a NVQ / C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration or equivalent
  • You must have a full, valid UK driving Licence.
Experience in refrigeration / air conditioning maintenance and repair is essential for this role. Experience providing assistance with HVAC equipment will be advantageous for this role.CO2 training is desirable but not essential as the right candidate will be provided with this as well as Care Gas, SPA and any other relevant courses that are relevant to the role.Please only apply for these roles if you have the relevant refrigeration qualifications and are comfortable working on an on-call rota of 1 week in every 4.To apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Andrew Bridges at PDA Search and Selection Limited
