My client are looking to take on a contract Developer to join their team on a fully remote basis for an initial 3 month contract with strong likelihood of extension thereafter to up to 18 months. The role will be paying £400 - £425pd (poss up to£450pd for the right person) OUTSIDE IR35.Tech stack is Symfony 4 & React (JS) on an AWS platform. You will be working alongside a full-stack developer who is more back-end weighted, so they would prefer someone more front-end weighted and you will initially be doing some work to update package versionsin the first instance.Thereafter the contract could extend significantly based on your skillset and experience and what you can bring to the table:- Currently they are using JavaScript based react, so updating to Typescript- Automating some of their testing- Improving some of their CI / CD processes using Docker & Kubernetes- Utilising Infrastructure as Code: TerraformEssential Skillset & Experience- React- Typescript- Modern MVC PHP- AWS- CI / CD: Docker, Kubernetes- SQL (pref MySQL)Desirable Skillset / Experience- Symfony- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform- Automation TestingIf you meet the above requirements and would like to find out more about this exciting opportunity, please apply with an updated CV as soon as possible as they are looking to move very quickly with this requirement.
