Role: Project Manager - GeneratorsBased: Southern Based - UK wide ProjectsSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 Basic dependent upon experience, & Car or Car AllowanceROLE - PROJECTS MANAGER - GENERATORS:My client is a leading supplier of standby-generators & power solutions for projects across the UK. A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Project Manager to handle and lead Generator projects from sign off to completion.The role reports directly into an Operations Director and offers future development potential. The position is integral to the business in making sure projects are delivered on time and on budget. The role will be involved with the sales process, assistwith bids, provide technical support, Manage Project Delivery including Factory witness tests, Mechanical & Electrical Installation and lead the relationship with the customer. You will work with directly with the end customer, working on utilities, hospitaland Data-Centre projects. Essentially, the role has the objective of making sure orders are turned into a reality from sign off.Candidate - GENERATORS:You will need at least 5 years relevant Project Management experience. It would be ideal, but not essential if the candidate came from a Generator background or at least an associated product background like switchgear, UPS Systems or Engines for example.It is of paramount importance that you are technically strong, ideally with an academic qualification such as a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering to back this up. You will need to be articulate and be able to communicate well both internally and withcustomers and have a large amount of commercial acumen.The candidate needs to be based in the South of England in what is a hybrid role with a combination of home, site and office based work.
