Reed is looking to speak with experienced insurance professionals of whom have experience working as an Account Broker, specialising in professional indemnity (PI) for a full time permanent role in Central Bristol.You will be joining a rapidly growing insurance broker, largely specialising in PI insurance, on their mission to work extremely hard to provide the best rates, and reliable service to their clients.Mission: As a PI Insurance Broker, you will be vital to helping clients navigate the intricacies of liability protection.Salary/Commission:£35k salary, £49k OTE (uncapped commission)Responsibilities:Assess clients unique professional risks and insurance requirementsDesign customized coverage plans, utilising your wealth of PI insurance knowledgeSource and negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best possible terms and rates for clientsProvide expert guidance to clients regarding policy features, exclusions, and potential claims scenariosStay updated on industry regulations and trends to offer informed advice to clientsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through attentive and personalized serviceManage the end-to-end insurance process, from quoting to policy issuance and renewalsAdvocate for clients during claims processes, ensuring a smooth and fair resolutionCollaborate with colleagues to share insights and contribute to the growth of the brokerageAbout you:Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (preferred)Experience as an insurance broker, with a specialisation in professional indemnityRelevant insurance certifications or licenses, such as CIIStrong understanding of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and risk assessmentExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients best interestsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in insurance software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office suiteDetail-oriented approach and ability to maintain accurate records and documentationProven ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectivelyOn offer:23 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompetitive base salary along with a performance-based commission structureComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plansProfessional development opportunities and support for continuing educationCollaborative and inclusive work environment that values teamwork and growthAccess to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries
