Production Operative

Production Operative / machine operator required in Central Bristol for full time, ongoing role – start ASAP

Monday – Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM
1 hour lunch break
£11 - £13 per hour PAYE, depending on experience
Central Bristol location – currently BS1 but will be relocating to BS4 in the coming months
Temp – to – perm opportunity for the right candidate
Ongoing training and development

About the job

Using a pillar drill, lathe and a computer as well as various hand tools
Follow printed work orders to drill, mark using a computer based machine, assemble and pack valves ready for shipping
Maintaining stock list
Goods-in quality checks
Assisting in monthly stock takes
Keeping the production and stock storage rooms tidy

The right candidate

Excellent communication skills
Able to read technical drawings (basic)
Great computer skills – using outlook and basic level of Excel, using printers and scanners
Previous experience in a similar role– manufacturing, mechanics, machine operation, production etc
