Job Description

My client is a thriving business working within the payment finance sector. They were founded in order to modernise and make payments more effective and easier to use. They have built an automated secure API, with various methods available to all customers.Their three main business attributes are to make payments easier, faster and much safer. They are an extremely successful business using some of the most cutting edge, modern digital technology, which ensures you will be in a company where there is progressionand growth.They are now looking to recruit for a Product Manager to specialise within the payment sector to assist and support the existing product portfolio, this will include delivery, improvements, support and training. You will be working closely with the productvision internally and with their current key external partner, this will be done by developing product pricing and positioning strategies.They are looking for someone to build a dynamic and thriving environment and work with all the different teams within the business to become an integral part of the team with the design, build, roll-out of products that aligns with the companys vision &strategy.Role Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Create the product vision both internally and with the key external partners.
  • Establish product pricing and positing strategies.
  • Product strategy into detailed requirement and prototypes.
  • Support a Product Roadmap, including scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with the development team to deliver a quick time-to-market.
  • Be the driving force behind the product launches, including working closely with the Marketing team and other Product team members.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with the product line strategy.
Key Competencies:
  • At least 2/3 years experience working within the payment sectors.
  • Proven work experience in Product Management or as an associate product manager.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matric organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS/BS degree in Business/Economics or equivalent preferred.
  • Ideally, you will have some knowledge of the FinTech ecosystem.
