Job Description

Do you want to be a part of a consultancy which want to progress their employees and push them to the best of their abilityHybrid working patterns on site or in office twice a week.Locations include Bristol or Plymouth or London or Leeds or South Wales.Our client is looking for someone who has previous defence or public sector experience.The Key Responsibilities of a Procurement Manager:

  • Working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellent results for their clients.
  • Support on tenders.
  • Engage with suppliers by facilitating workshops.
  • Preparing tender specifications, working with client legal advisers.
  • Engaging with suppliers, co-ordinating tender evaluation.
  • Supporting clients in negotiations.
  • Providing contract management, supplier management or commercial advice to clients.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Procurement Manager, however you will not be expected to have everything:
  • Build on new and existing relationships with clients across a variety of levels across the business
  • Experience in specifying tenders and selecting service providers in a commercial environment
  • Experience reporting and presenting to a range of client stakeholders
  • CIPS accreditation
  • bid development and presentations is desirable
