Job Description

Job Title: Private Client Tax ManagerIndustry: Tax / AccountingLocation: BristolSalary: circa £66,000Job reference: 15802Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager to join a thriving tax and accountancy practice in Bristol.The Bristol office comprises of over 200 staff and is in a central location! As a result of their ongoing success, theyre seeking a senior manager to join the Private Client Tax team. This team aids individuals with their taxes. Support will include compliance,reporting and planning advice on a domestic and international level.

  • Youll manage a portfolio of clients working with senior staff on consultancy and advisory personal tax planning and offshore projects
  • Deliver great service in order to maintain relationships
  • Manage a portfolio of personal clients with tax affairs
  • Meet both client and compliance deadlines
  • Liaise with clients on all advisory matters
  • Assist partners with lead tax planning projects e.g onshore, offshore trusts, capital gains and inheritance tax issues
  • Manage HMRC enquiries and deal with compliance/advisory correspondence
  • Responsible for billing and monitoring budgets
  • Present at training sessions
  • Review compliance and advisory work prepared by more junior members of the team
  • Assist with supporting associate members of staff with technical and personal development
  • Engage in business development
  • Maintain your technical knowledge
Benefits:

Skills and experience required:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant and or Chartered Tax Adviser
  • Experience in a similar position within a professional services firm
  • Knowledge of private client tax issues
  • Full understanding and experience with non domiciled individuals and dealing with complex capital gains tax/inheritance tax matters
  • Experience delivery tax planning/advisory projects
  • Experience managing compliance issues
  • Experience managing others
  • Organised and motivated
