Job Description

Our client is looking for a Stockbroker to join their talented team to provide a seamless and proactive wealth management service.In this role, you will focus on Private Clients, offering first class advice whilst also developing new business.The role:

  • Provide clients with a thorough wealth management service
  • Contribute towards stock ideas and overall market opinion
  • Be aware of the firm’s investment view, including the composition of current model portfolios and buy/sell lists
  • Take orders from clients and then execute them as instructed with the market
  • Attract, develop and retain a portfolio of private client relationships to maximise asset and revenue growth by meeting client’s needs
  • Understand investment, tax, trust, pensions, financial planning and banking service offerings, liaising with product specialists as appropriate, to deliver suitable services to the clients
  • Actively seek new business through own network, intermediaries and other referrals
  • Be aware of company valuations, stock situations, topical price sensitive information, stock market conditions and economic trends
  • Ensure that all operations affecting clients are carried out in accordance with FCA rules
    • Your skills:
  • You are qualified to a CISI Level 4 or above
  • You have excellent knowledge of current markets and UK equities
  • You are client focused- always aiming to inspire loyalty in clients
  • You have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise and gain effective rapport with clients
