Job Description

Planning LocumVenn Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Planning Locum to join an established legal team within a Local Authority in the South West. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the regions leading planning teams and undertake a high qualityof planning work with the involvement of highways and enforcement/litigation.Location: South WestSet-up: Remote workingDuration: 6 months+Rate: £52phHours: 25 hours per weekIR35 status: Inside IR35The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to manage their workload unsupervised and be highly organised
  • Deal with a high volume and complex s.106 agreements and highways agreements
  • Advise on rights of way, s278/38 agreements, committee work, enforcement notices, major road schemes planning matters and highways advice
  • Provide legal advice on major compulsory purchase order matters and responsible for land assembly and acquisition negotiation
  • Assess and deal with the status of public highways including High Court and Land Tribunal action
  • Advise on bridge construction, waterways, licenses, title issues, estates and flood prevention
  • Handle planning appeals and public enquires
