Php Developer - Laravel, React, Vue, GCP, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, PHPUnitMy client are recruiting for a Laravel Developer to join their team on a permanent basis paying £30,000 - £60,000pa DOE +10% Bonus and excellent benefits.You can choose to work 100% from home, or work onsite in Somerset as much as or as little as you like - its completely up to you!Ideally you will have strong experience working with Laravel and some modern JavaScript experience as this will be the tech stack within the role, but you dont need to have any prior JavaScript or Front-end capability and they are also willing to consider candidates with Symfony experience instead of Laravel, as long as you have strong commercial experience of one of the two.Please note: You must be UK-based to carry out the work and must have full right to work in the UK as my client cannot offer sponsorship.Essential Skillset / Experience- Strong commercial OO MVC PHP experience - ideally Laravel, but Symfony considered too- Strong commercial experience building APIs and API-driven systems- A willingness to learn new skills and improve existing onesDesirable Skillset / Experience- Full-Stack Development with modern JavaScript: React & Vue- Cloud development experience: AWS, GCP (Google Cloud)- Testing: PHPUnit, Mockery- CI / CD / DevOps: Jenkins, Docker, Git etc- Relational (SQL) Databases: MySQL- Non-Relational (NoSQL) Databases: CouchDB, MongoDB - Queuing / Messaging systems / even-driven architecture: Redis, KafkaIf you meet the above criteria and would be interested in pursuing this further please reply with an up to date CV as soon as possible as they are looking to move as quickly as possible with this role.Please note: we are all working from home currently and my team cannot transfer calls to me.
