Job Description

The role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with the wider business to provide exceptional reporting and insightClient DetailsAccountant to join our clients finance team for a fixed term contract (12 months). Open to considering candidates who wish to work on a part-time basis, 25-30hrsDescription

  • Keeping up-to-date, accurate accounting records
  • Timely, accurate, insightful monthly reporting to a variety of stakeholders
  • Monthly payroll and pension administration
  • Supervision and support to the Accounts Assistant
  • Monthly budget to actual reports for departmental expenditure
  • Books accounting and reporting for the group
  • Fixed assets - depreciation, monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations

  • At least 3 years experience of working in finance department including accounts payable and payroll administration
  • Organised, meticulous, excellent attention to detail
  • Shows initiative and the ability to apply logic to problem solve
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
  • Knowledge of the principles of payroll and pensions
  • Experience of using finance systems Sage/SAP

  • £25k- £30k per annum (FTE), depending on experience
  • Part time will be considered between 25hrs and 30hrs depending on experience
  • 12 month fixed term contract
