Job Description

Job Tittle: Paraplanner Location: Bristol Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + Bonus & Benefits Working for our client A modern and innovative national wealth management firm with a long-standing history of helping valued clients make the most of their wealth, guiding the way to a secure financial future.Working with individuals, businesses and charities a like; they offer a comprehensive wealth management service across a full range of financial products including Pensions, Investments, Tax, Protection and estate planning.Alongside a contemporary office space and great team environment you will be entitled to a full range of company benefits including Private health care, income protection, company pension, death in service and well being programme.The Position Currently we are seeking to add an enthusiastic individual to work within Paraplanning support team, helping Financial Planners to deliver a first-class service to clients.Responsibilities

  • Producing compliant and accurate suitability reports to deliver sound financial planning advice to clients in a friendly, timely manner
  • Undertaking Fund and Product Research for a range of cases
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with Financial Planners and other team members
  • Continue to develop technical knowledge through professional development and a desire to learn
  • Ensuring client files are compliant and in line with FCA guidelines
  • The Perfect candidate
  • Ideally working towards obtaining the level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning via the CII, LIBF or CISI
  • Has a good working knowledge of Pensions and Investments products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Has an understanding of compliance procedures and working knowledge of the FCA
