Job Description

Role: Personal AssistantLocation: Bristol - Hybrid (2 days in the Office, 3 days working from home)Type: Permanent - Full timeSalary: £35kOur client is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Personal Assistant to join their team. Based in Bristol, this permanent hybrid role will play a crucial part in support 2 Directors ensuring the smooth operation of the office and all associatedbusiness activities.Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including:

  • Quick and accurate audio and copy transcription of letters, memos, and reports.
  • Distributing and actioning incoming correspondence as appropriate.
  • Drafting written responses to routine correspondence.
  • Assisting in the production of financial data using Excel.
  • Handling routine issues and making arrangements for important matters in the Directors absence.
  • Communicating effectively with individuals at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Screening telephone calls, redirecting callers to the appropriate departments/personnel, and referring to the Line Manager if necessary.
  • Coordinating the Directors calendars and assisting in the efficient operation of their mailboxes.
  • Taking and producing effective notes during meetings on occasion.
  • Processing expenses in accordance with the Companys set deadlines.
  • Maintaining a bring-forward folder.
  • Anticipating and arranging travel requirements.
  • Reviewing industry publications and media weekly, and maintaining a well-organized filing system.
  • Engaging in ad hoc project work.
  • Collaborating closely with other PAs and departmental administrators in a courteous and effective manner to uphold the team ethic.
  • Developing personal skills and technical knowledge to enhance contributions towards departmental and company objectives.
Person Specification:
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Excellent technical skills: Advanced Word, and at least Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsofts Outlook and Calendar functions.
  • Prior solid PA experience.
  • Fast and accurate audio and copy typing.
  • Strong written, verbal, and numerical skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to enhance skills through training and development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
