Job Description

REED are pleased to be partnering with a global professional services firm, based in Central Bristol, who are looking for an Operations and Project Manager to join their team.This particular team works closely with both lawyers and core business services to help the business manage matters more effectively, ranging from pricing and scoping through to evaluationHybrid working: YesAbout:This role is focused on identifying and delivering necessary changes to working practices and utilising technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The ability to drive sustainable change through facilitation, training and promoting benefits is an importantpart of the value of the team.Duties:Scoping and budgeting of the matter (impact on different fee arrangements)Planning and setting up projects utilising tools and considering different resources optionsStrategic reporting to support financial and progress reporting for teams and projectsHighlighting potential issues around progress, profitability, and billingFacilitating structured communications within the delivery teamFacilitating lessons learnedEnsure effective governance, processes and defined outputs are in placeGenerating LPM tools and resources to support specific work typesLead of process improvement/operational efficiency projectsImplement and embed changes to ways of working and processesAnalyse data and communicate value to key stakeholders for key projectsFacilitating and delivering training across the firm and to clientsPromote and encourage engagement with the LOPM team and our propositionSupport and contribute to pitches to sell LOPM services and products to support the firmProviding consultancy support and recommendations on possible delivery/implementation solutions for internal and external clientsProactively contribute to team initiatives that build our profile, client engagements and support our mandateRequirements:Experience within a professional services or legal sector setting (advantageous)Successfully delivered business change projects, from initiation to completionStrong ability to build credible relationships at all levels of seniorityStrong ability to translate objectives into tangible outputs to meet specific needsAbility to manage different stakeholder types confidently and diplomaticallyAbility to confidently sell value, benefits and results to improve buy-in/engagementExtensive project management experience and a proven understanding for behavioural considerations involvedStrong facilitation skills and is a confident presenterAbility to confidently advise, consult and influence in all situationsComfortable with unknowns and assertive when necessaryAble to prioritise quickly, often in busy periods, in a calm mannerInvested team player and confident to collaborateStrong ability to multi-task and maintain excellent attention to detailStrong Excel skills, including using Excel to carry out analysis and reportingExperience of process mapping tools would be an advantageOutstanding written and verbal communication skills and presentation skillsStrong business acumenFinancial awarenessWhat will you get:25 days holiday rising to 28 days holiday with length of serviceContributory Pension SchemePrivate Medical InsuranceCritical Illness coverIncome protectionLife assuranceCompany wide bonus opportunity if hit financial targetParental leave packagesCycle to Work schemeEmergency Backup Care (for childcare needs)
