Job Description

A hugely successful and ambitious Manufacturing business based in South Bristol are recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their fast-paced office on a permanent, full-time basis.

  • Starting Salary: £26,000 per annum
  • Location: South Bristol (Fully office-based role)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9-5 (some flexibility on hours)
  • A driving licence would be beneficial
  • Immediate start available
Key duties for the Office Administrator:
  • Purchasing including sourcing and procuring materials for the company as required
  • Raising purchase orders in Xero (training will be provided)
  • Provide support to business functions, primarily the CEO and business development team with activities such as organising events and travel
  • Run general office administration, dealing with inbound calls, mail, office supplies
  • Preparing meeting rooms when required
  • Booking travel arrangements such as car hire, train and air tickets, hotels
  • Stock control of stationery & consumables
  • Document filing and recording such as NDAs and insurance
Key attributes and skills required for the Office Administrator:
  • Administrative experience ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Purchasing skills, including procuring and raising purchase orders desirable
  • Highly organised with strong time management
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal
  • Competent user of Office 365 suite
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Good attention to detail
