The project works in conjunction with 5 other housing providers as part of the new housing Pathway for Bristol as part of the homelessnessreduction act. We are looking for a flexible and customer-focused Night Support Coordinator to join our team on where you will have the opportunity to build on your skills and knowledge and become a part of the Places for People Living+ team.As a Night Support Coordinator you will maintain the cleanliness and fabric of the scheme whilst demonstrating a patient and tolerant attitude towards residents. In this role you will carry out regular safety checks on communal and external areas, identifynecessary repairs in external areas and pass all relevant information onto the appropriate person and ensure all administration of safety checks is up to date.You will carry out effective, regular cleaning of communal areas and void properties and provide nightly handover reports on relevant activity throughout your shift to other colleagues with in the project work team liaising with them to resolve problemsof any nature at your work place.This post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.This is a full time role covering 36.25 hours with various shifts MondaySunday, usually three shifts a week based over a 5 week rota.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youTo become our Night Support Coordinator you will have experience working with at-risk service users, ideally within homeless, recovery or mental health services coupled with an understanding of health and safety practices in the workplace. Ideally you willhave some understanding of support planning, risk assessments and be able to evidence at interview your commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You will be prepared to get stuck in with various tasks from cleaning to security and fire safety.Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritise your work load and an empathetic character are essential.
