Job Description

Night Care Assistant in Bristol !I am currently recruiting for my clients Residential Home based in the Birstol area, who are actively looking for an experienced night care assistant to care for their residents during the night. The home is registered for a maximum of 30 service usersand provides care to those of old age and Dementia.Night Care Assistant details:

  • Min of £11ph and max of £15ph
  • Full-time, permanent employment
  • Nights only
Care Assistant experience/ qualifications/ skills:
  • Mandatory training is expected
  • Experience as a care assistant
  • NVQs are preferred not essential
Night Care Assistant duties:
  • To help residents get ready and get into bed/settle down for the night.
  • To provide a high standard of care overnight, including hygiene, continence, mobility, dressing and general care.
  • To carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the person in charge, and record
  • To ensure the residents privacy and dignity is maintained at all times
  • To carry out regular checks on the building at intervals determined by the person in charge with special reference to fire prevention and security.
  • To answer emergency bells or calls from residents immediately and seek further assistance if necessary.
