We are currently on the lookout for an NPD Apparel Planner, for our client based in Aztec West.This will be a 6-month fixed term contract starting immediately.You will be joining a friendly, down to earth and hardworking team.Working hours will be 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday and the salary will be up to £25k depending on experience.What will I be accountable forThe primary purpose of this job is to manage the critical path to ensure all new product development is produced in time and to specification.•Constantly monitoring and managing all NPD Apparel activity, ensuring critical pathway deadlines are achieved whilst advising of potential pinch points.•Working alongside the department head and brand manager with product costing and pricing research analysis.•Creation and population of detailed seasonal product line lists.•Being responsible for photo sample/bulk sample and bulk production order generation, working closely with the Purchasing team and maintaining updated information at all times.•Managing all shipping requirements within the department.•Generating reports such as shipment lists, delivery, order and cancellation lists.•Placement of seasonal preorder buys with vendors.•Preparation of salesman sample sets for distribution to sales teams.•QC’ing of bulk production upon arrival in the warehouse.•Developing and managing ongoing relationships with product suppliers, being sensitive and respectful to cultural differences.Person Profile:We are looking for a well organised individual with excellent planning & processing skill, a high level of attention to detail and the capacity to work to demanding deadlines. You should be able to work in a small, close-knit team with limited supervision and have good judgment and excellent commercial awareness.Education and Experience Required:•Degree level education (or equivalent experience)•Experience within a supply chain/critical path planning role, ideally within the same or similar industry.•Excellent knowledge of the production process to achieve critical path stages.•Excellent Mircrosoft Excel skills to intermediate level (vlookup, data sorting, if functions and pivot tables).If you feel you are suitable for the role or would like further information on the position please contact Jo Harrington at Interaction Recruitment on or apply online.
